What Does A Creatinine Level Of 1.26 Suggest?
The condition requires further evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details and indeed there is reason to be concerned. The detorioration in kidney function could indicate chronic kidney failure even though the e-GFR still seems to be in the normal range. The cause needs to be evaluated and I would need to know if you have a raised blood sugar or blood pressure. There are a few tests that need to be done:
* Blood sugar - fasting. Blood for HbA1c.
* Blood for urea, liver function test, electrolytes including Calcium
* Urine microscopy
* 24 hour urinary protein + urine protein-creatinine ratio
I would suggest you to get a nephrological consultation with the above reports.

The cause needs further evaluation.

Thanks for writing back.
The blood sugar is normal. But you have not commented upon the blood pressure status. Long standing high blood pressure (which is not necessarily diagnosed early) may lead to chronic kidney injury and may have caused your situation. The urinary specific gravity is raised which indicates that certain things are getting passed onto the urine. Hence there could be a defect in the filtration as well, as apart from the kidney functioning itself. Serum calcium is normal. You need a nephrological consultation. The nephrologist will perhaps suggest you to get the rest of tests done.

You still require the tests and nephrological consultation
Detailed Answer:
In that case, the cause is less likely to be a high blood pressure. But still the other investigations and the nephrological consultation is called for.
