What Does A Delay In Periods While On IUD Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor,
Am avoiding pregnancy so I put a loop 7 months ago, anyway, I got my period regularly after, however, my period date this month is late 2 weeks.

I made a pregnancy blood test but it was negative

Intrauterine devices (loop) protect form unwanted pregnancy at a rate of 94-99%.
Pregnancy test negative after 2 weeks delay of periods and on IUD use, means you have no chances to be pregnant.

IUD (loop) especially the hormonal one can cause hormonal imbalances and this can cause delay to missed periods .
