What Does A Lump In Middle Of The Chest Indicate?

Question: I have a lump in the middle if my chest: been there since Friday. I also had a tetnas shot on tuesday so maybe related? Other than that im a little coughy.

As the lump is just three days old and you are having cough also so that could bea lymph node swelling following your chest infection.

Other possibilities are lipoma, sebaceous cyst or dermoid cyst.

But to come to a diagnosis it needs a clinical examination by a physician or a surgeon.

If it comes out to be a lymph node, they it should go following the treatment of your cough with proper antibiotics. Else it can be removed if you want, if its not a lymph node.

And its mostly not related to the tetanus toxoid shot you have received.
