What Does A Lump On The Collar Bone Indicate?
I noticed the area about 2 months ago. It is at the base of my collar bone at the throat area. No skin color change and had it not been for the stinging and occasional sharp needle pain I would not have noticed it. The pain does not radiate. I do not have any xrays of this issue yet. It is roughly the size of the cap from a bottle of rubbing alcohol. It doesn't interfere with my day to easy activities.
Different possibilities explained.need additional details please.

much raised above skin surface , overlying skin changes in color ,
