What Does A Lump Under The Armpit Indicate?
Question: I have had a hard pea sized lump under my right armpit for a couple years. Obviously it has not been a bother or caused any illness but I recently found two more under my left armpit. except these feel a little more rubbery and can be moved a little bit. Should I be worried? I am 34 with kids, female. Thanks for your time.

I appreciate your concern.
Although on physical exam, lumps due to cysts or fibro adenoma may not be easily distinguished, Ultrasound examination of the breast can distinguish cystic from solid lesions.
I would recommend a Physical exam to determine the nature of the lump, clinically and then advise you the necessary investigations eg mammogram and CBC, ESR etc accordingly.
A physical exam would easily rule in or exclude any local causes such as hydradenitis , ingrown hair, lipomas etc. Please consult a general physician for further workup , soon
