What Does A Lung Nodule Indicate?
Question: C T scan in January showed I lung nodule. C T scan in XXXXXXX showed two more, in both my left and right lung. I see a pulminary doctor tomorrow , what should I expect, another four months before he makes his move?

Lung nodules are variable in number, size, shape and imaging characteristics. Usually nodules measure less than 30 mm in diameter. As per Fleischner society pulmonary nodule recommendations, a patient having lung nodules needs further assessment according to initial nature of the nodules visualized.
I would like to see a copy of your CT scan report before suggesting further imaging work up and possible diagnosis. Lung nodules if increasing in number and size should be followed up strictly.
Please so attach a copy of your report at the earliest.
