Question: Mole with dry skin?
I have a mole on my breast near my areola, and its 1cm and 1/2 wide. Its pretty symmetrical, with a brown color, but the skin is dry, and if you gently scratch it with your fingernail, then little white flakes appear. Should I be worried? Could this be from my bra? I'm uncomfortable showing my doctor because it's on my breast and I'm still in my teen years.
Brief Answer:
calamine lotion . avoid scratching.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using HCM. I went through the query and understood your concern.
The mole is occured recently may be due to the reaction to the bra or due to any other reaction to cloth or chemicals. For now don't scratch the mole but you can apply calamine lotion.
I want some more information.
Is there any swelling or nodule below the mole.
Is it adherent to underlying tissue.
Is it spreading, itching or painful.
If you can put high quality photo of the mole it will be better for us to diagnose.
One more important point is you need not to hesitate to consult doctor as they keep all information confidential and are trained for it. Some diseases can be diagnosed better with physical examination.
I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask if any further queries and I will be glad to answer them.
Wish you good health.
RegardsĀ
