Brief Answer:
Excisional biopsy for diagnosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
But the best diagnostic tool will be excisional biopsy of lymph node, after 7 days of antibiotic therapy.
Clinical evaluation is very important to correlate.
Other investigations like X RAY or blood count to correlate the diagnosis are done, but they may or may not be positive.
Hope I have answered your query.
If any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.

Is there any chance of no TB instead of positive mantoux? pls explain back ground.
Brief Answer:
May or may not be TB
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
The Mantoux test does not measure immunity to TB but the degree of hypersensitivity to tuberculin. There is no correlation between the size of induration and likelihood of current active TB disease but the reaction size is correlated with the future risk of developing TB disease. The test has a poor positive predictive value for current active disease.
formation of vesicles, bullae or necrosis at the test site indicates high degree of tuberculin sensitivity and thus presence of infection with tubercle bacilli.
Post-BCG Mantoux testing serves no purpose.
Hope I have answered your query.
