Question: Hello Doctor, I had red rised spots in my upper lips. It is burning...I have attached the photos..

I have reviewed the attached photographs and it seems to be Fordyce spots.
These are ectopic oil glands which are a normal finding in about 50 percent of the general population.
They are harmless and are mainly of cosmetic concern.
If you want to remove them you need to consult a dermatologist and go for laser treatment.

In lips it is 4 days...the cluster of spots on inner cheeks over 2 months. Some times pain...no fluid filled..little spots
