Brief Answer:
Possibly Dermatigraphic urticaria
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Since there is no color change or itching associated with the raised rash, the likely possibility is Dermatographism.
Dermatographism occurs due to the allergic response of skin to scratching or coming in contact with scratchy, sharp surface.
This should subside on its own in few hours. In some people, it can take up to few days. It would be helpful if you could attach a picture or send the picture via email to YYYY@YYYY
by keeping the subject as ATTN: Dr. Lekshmi so that I can confirm the diagnosis.
