Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
From your very good description of these lesions, I really do not think this should be a source of panic. The fact that the lesions do not itch, no pain and are not rapidly spreading nor reddish are comforting. It is rare that these patches should be infectious in origin.
It might however be of interest to know exactly if you visited an area you were not used to visiting or touched something. This could be probably a reaction to something. Some insect bites and reaction to some toxic chemicals or substances do present as such.
I would suggest you stay calm and carefully watch these lesions. You will have to report to your general practitioner in case they start spreading and become permanent.
I suggest the use of topical steroids like Betamethasone or Dermarex ( a topical antihistaminic drug) in case of persistence. You will however just have to be calm for a couple of days.
No real worries for now as I wish you the best of health. Please, do feel free asking further questions in case I might have missed to address any of your specific concerns.
Kind regards,
Dr Bain
