What Does A Sore Spot On Penis Head Indicate?

Question: I have a sore spot on penis head. Spot slightly darker than surrounding flesh. Pain is dull in intensity. No pain during urination. 43 years old. I have not had sex in over a year. Most sex in past was protected with both men and women.
