Dear Ma am, Hi
Good Morning!
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I would like to know about the following:
1. Any history of vaginal bleeding?
2. Do you take hormone replacement therapy for post menopausal symptoms>
3. Do you take Tamoxifen?
The normal postmenopausal endometrium should be thin & homogeneous.
Homogeneous, smooth endometrial thickening measuring 5 mm or less are considered within the normal range.
There is a slight risk of carcinoma (5-7%) if the endometrium is >11 mm and irregular.
Hope this answers your query.
Looking forward to receive the requested information as given above.
Best regards.

Dear Ma am, Hi
So, since you are not taking the above medications, you are advised to be examined by a gynecologist. You may need hysteroscopic examination and biopsy of the endometrial thickening for the diagnosis. At this age, the above test is important.
Hope the suggestion given above could be useful in arriving at a diagnosis and subsequently its treatment.
Wishing you a very good health.
