What Does Abdominal Pain After Having Food Indicate?

Agree with your doctor's treatment, just continue it regularly
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
It seems like you are having a gastritis episode.
It has returned after treating it the first time because the time to treat it properly its longer (8-10 weeks with omeprazole). So I agree with the treatment of your doctor.
As important as the medication its also to be careful to eat healthy and avoid factors that may trigger your stomach pain.
-- Avoid spicy and greasy foods.
-- Eat often and small amounts.
-- Eat at least 4 hours before going to bed.
-- Drink plenty of fluids, avoid alcohol and smoking.
Hope this is helpful.

Omeprazole- is needed to be taken regularly
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thank you for the follow up question.
As I read from your symptoms I notice that this problem bothers you a lot. Also the fact that it returns after the first time makes me think that you need to take a regular treatment for some times.
I would suggest, take Omeprazole 20mg in the morning, 20 minutes before food, for 4 weeks.
Take Domperidone only if needed, because it gives a lot of side effects.
If after these 4 weeks, and after stopping the medication, there's still pain (even if you are careful with the food), then you will need to consider doing a fibrogastroscopy for the stomach which will rule out the degree of a ulcer or a gastritis and will determine for how long you need to take the treatment.
I hope this is helpful.
Regards,

Can be associated with some diaphragmatic hernia
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
It may or may not be normal. It all will depend on other symptoms you have.
If you don't have cough or shortness of breath, then it doesn't come from the lungs.
Also I don't think it is related to the heart.
Since your symptoms are related to food then its more possible to be related with stomach.
I suspect it may be a diaphragmatic hernia, but only an ultrasound would tell it with certainty. It would be needed some more medicines in this case and some more practical measures.
I hope it's understood now, feel free to ask further
Regards

Possible mucular pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I think that if you have ruled out hernia, then there's nothing to worry about.
The pain after passing gases, its probably because of the bowel pain which gets radiated, and/ due to some muscular pain.
If it gets worse or not better, though, I would recommend seeing a local doctor to get a thorough physical examination to look into it further.
