Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Bright red color of blood in stools and normal colonoscopy is quite contradictory, with blood that prominent, pathology is always there and cant be missed. Commonest causes like hemorrhoids are on top of suspicion list as you have constipation too and that worsens it and triggers the blood. Another suspicions would be of inflammatory bowel disease and IBS but once again, normal colonoscopy wont be the finding. Modifying diet lifestyle, small frequent meas, avoiding triggers in diet like soda, alcohol, beverages, spices, processed canned foods , coffee etc and exercise regularly, train your bowel habits and see if it helps. Consult a physician or a gastroenterologist and let them help you in this regard and correlate yoru symptoms further to find out the possible etiology behind it. Stool routine examination should also be done.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

I had hoped that a doctor on this site had maybe encountered these symptoms in a prior patient. But I do thank you for responding.
Mucus due to hemorrhoids.

Thank you for getting back to me
Now that you mentioned hemorrhoids, mucus is very common with hemorrhoids, due to engorged hemorrhoidal cushions, the mucus glands are over active and works as a help to keep the stools lubricated and soft to make them pass through anus and rectum smoothly without deteriorating the hemorrhoids, you need not to worry about the mucus, its due to hemorrhoids, get the hemorrhoids corrected if conservative measures with diet lifestyle have failed, and the issue of mucus will resolve on its own.
Nutshell, hemorrhoids cause mucus in stools, treating former fixes later.
