I have been suffering from chronic non bacterial prostatitis since September 2014. I have all classic prostatitis problem. My urologist treated me with antibiotics (Cipro) and alpha blocker. Six months of antibiotics did not help and alpha blocker is helping me to pass urine. I am on Lyrica in order to control the pain in my uro genital area.
I am taking Saw palmetto as well. Odd felling in the urethra, more like burning and tingling but not when urinating. This odd sensation gives me more trouble in the evening or by consuming spicy food.
What else I could ask him to try?

Hello
Thanks for follow up.
.While doing Prostatic Massage prostate is massaged and squeezed that helps to eliminate congested prostatic secretions in to prostatic duct and finally into urethra while during ejaculation entire prostatic secretions are not forced into prostatic urethra .One may not be able to ejaculate daily while prostatic massage can be carried out daily and will help to eliminate prostatic secretion out of the prostate and prevent it from getting infected.
Since you have been taking multiple antibiotics for 10 months I would suggest you to try this modality of treatment.which has helped my patients.
Thanks and Regards.
