What Does Burning Sensation During Urination Indicate?

Question: Good Morning .

My Query to Dr XXXXXXX heijebu.\
Sir I have frequent episodes of burning sensation while passing urine since 4 days.Also I recently had sex with my Colleague.We are getting married next month.Will this affect my chances of being father?Kindly suggest treatment to my problem?

This UTI will not hamper fertility chances.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.

I understand your concern.

The burning sensation in your case is possibly related to acquired urinary tract infection from your female partner's genital tract.

This could most likely be an uncomplicated mild Urinary tract infection.

All you need is a good urinary antibiotic therapy for 5 days with Tab Norfloxacin 400 mg twice a day for both partners.

This will resolve infection in many cases.

Uncomplicated infections will not hamper the chances of fertility.
