What Does Burning Sensation In The Chest After Climbing Stairs Indicate?
Unlikely to be a heart related pain!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am sure you are worried about a heart related pain and this seems unlikely at this time. Because you have been working out lately and this has not often happened, it is unlikely to be a heart related pain as it often goes on for long duration with multiple episodes and not just once. However, should this happen again, there is need for you to get evaluated. At least a clinical exam and a baseline EKG that looks at electrical activity of the heart would be informative. At this time, am more concerned about acid reflux and will suggest you take omeprazole. If this calms the pain, that’s final. Unless the pain gets worse, there is no need to seek further medical attention at this time.
Keep me posted about your progress.
