What Does Chest Pain That Radiates To The Arm Indicate?
Question: I have been having slight chest pain, that radiates lightly down my left arm. I also have been having lots of chest flutters. I had an EKG done that showed extensive ST changes borderline EKG. What exactly does that mean?
Brief Answer:
You could have heart disease that is making you have the chest pain.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. This is suggestive of heart disease and heart ischemia. The best way to properly conclude this is to have a stress test, however, it should not be an EKG stress test as your EKG already shows borderline abnormalities. I would ask you to be evaluated by a cardiologist sooner than later. If you walked into my office, I would have to rule you out for a heart attack/myocardial infarction before chalking this to something else. Take the necessary steps to have your heart evaluated. I hope this helps and answers your query. Good luck.
