What Does Constipation, Back Pain And White Spots On Hip X Ray Indicate?

Please find detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
In my opinion, it is best if you can attach an image of your hip X ray to your query for my interpretation. White spots can be seen in many conditions and most of them are benign. There can be white spots which are actually calcifications in the blood vessels in the area. White spots can arise due to intake of calcium containing substances in the intestines. It is important to know the plane in which the white spots lie. They can be bone islands or even soft tissue calcifications.
My next suggestion will be to take another X ray in the lateral position (after your bowel movement gets back to normal) and know the exact location of the white spots and if the white spots are still not well characterized then a CT scan may help.
I will not directly jump to a bone cancer without systematic reasoning.
Hope your query is answered.
Will be glad to see the X ray image if possible and answer any further doubts that you may have.
Regards,
Dr.Vivek
