What Does Delayed Period Along With Negative Pregnancy Result Indicate?
Question: Hi sir,
My last menstrual cycle happend on May 28th and we did that on XXXXXXX 6th, 14th 21st 30th and july 6th and I missed my period. But I had home pregnancy test several times and the result shows negative. Even we had a laboratory urine test for pregnancy on XXXXXXX 29th and the result is negative. Yesterday we had ultrasound scan and it shows nothing. Our gynaecologist earlier suggest Deviry 10mg and she told that mensutural cycle starts in one week. But it didn't start. Yesterday we consulted one more gynaecologist and she gave Strone 100 injection and Gynostar syrup. As of now we are not planning for children. What might be the reason for dealy in menstural cycle and is there any possibility of ectopic pregnancy? But I don't have any abdomen pain or spotting or bleeding. What test you suggest for me to take and medicine to start my menstural cycle?

Period maybe delay due to so many reasons other than pregnancy.
The most common causes are stress, anxiety, diet and weight changes, exercise, hormonal changes,PCOD, fibroid, thyroid disorder, infection.
But before giving my opinion about it I want to ask a few questions from you.
Have you taken divery tablets and for how many days and when?
Have you taken injection and syp.also?
Have you done unprotected sex on those days?
You are on birth control pills?
Please revert back to us with my answer.
Get your beta hcg levels to rule out ectopic pregnancy ( though the chances are less).

I have taken deviry tablets for 3days 3 each a day
Yes I havr taken injection yesterday and started taking syrup from yesterday night since my date not yet started.
Yes mam all those days we had unprotected sex.
No we are not on brith control pills. Till now we used deviry only that's too for 3days.
Is beta hcg a blood test to detect pregnancy?
