YYYY@YYYY
? Allergic Reaction
Detailed Answer:
Good evening
Thank you for writing on health care magic
Well, it looks like some sort of allergic reaction happening to you due to certain food stuffs or impurities in the food stuff triggering this sort of reaction. I would like to ask a few more details to know what exactly is going on..
1 Has it happened before as well??
2. Do you face any difficulty in swallowing or any cough accompanying?
3. Do they disappear themselves or you have to take any medication?
4. Have you been able to narrow it down to which food stuffs cause such symptoms?
Do let me know these queries. If possible, could you attach a picture of the reaction which happens after consuming foods. That would be most helpful

do you think a food allergy blood test would help?

Detailed Answer:
Good evening
Thank you for your reply. Well you are developing some sort of allergies. Firstly you need to Make a diary and mark the things which cause this sort of reaction. Secondly a few days trial of anti allergies would help
Food allergy test, if done properly can be useful. But most of the centers all over the world, don't it in the right way and you will end up finding out allergies to so many other food stuffs which don't affect you also. Outcome, you will avoid eating almost anything.
So personally I won't recommend it. The best way to figure out is to see which food stuffs affect you and make a note of it.. Some blood tests I would recommend which you can get it done:
1. Complement c3 C4
2. Absolute eosinophil count
Hope the information was useful

Food allergy
Detailed Answer:
Good evening
Well, yes once the reaction is triggered it can last for a few days. But I would still like to see the picture of the rash to be sure what it is.
You can try with Tablet Allegra( Fenofexidine) 180 mg once at night along with LEvocetrizine 5 mg in the morning. You may need a higher dose of anti allergic s to control this reaction. If it doesn't work, we may consider adding low dose steroids for a short duration.

Good evening
Well, yes once can urinate a bit more in an allergic reaction. The exact mechanism is not known, but lot of chemicals are released during the process. But bed wetting, is not something I have heard of. Normally, allergies dont cause bed wetting process.
Do you have to urinate that much everyday or is it only when you get this reaction??You did check your sugar right??

(my whole body) and depression. Do you think I may have something wrong with my immune system?
Allergies
Detailed Answer:
Good evening
Sorry for the delayed reply. Was caught up in hospital duties
Allergic reaction is a part of the immune system. Increased urination can be a part of the allergic reaction during the episodes as well. I feel you have developed some of allergy which is getting aggravated with foods. Our stomach system, acts as a trigger for lot of reactions as it lets lot of antibody s pass through.
What I would suggest is, you get few of the blood tests I am recommending and try a vegan diet for a while. Lot of people get benefit from it as the extra substances put in the food get eliminated.
The blood tests are:
1. ANA
2. Absolute Eosinophil count
3. Complement C 3 and C4
These are mandatory for any allergic reaction to see if it is happening from the immune system or just other wise.
Hope the information was useful

Fungal Infection
Detailed Answer:
Good evening
Well , yes candida is a very common infection affecting the females. It can cause lot of vaginal itching and urinary tract infection. If it is causing urine infection, it can cause increased frequency and bed wetting as well. You can get a Urine routine and culture done to look for any infection. If positive, we can consider starting you on antibiotics.
These blood tests are the special ones( immunological markers). You will have to get your doctor to advise it for you. If anything positive, we can take it forward from there

Well, Thanx for your comments
Yes, you can contact the allergy doctors as well. Allergy is a part of Rheumatology and immunology as the reactions and the cytokines released in Allergic reaction all initiate from the immune system. We handle all the Allergy cases in our country. Even places like Singapore and other countries, Allergy is a part of it.
But if you want to speak to an Allergist, you can choose the specialist query mode . It will direct you there.
I Hope i was of some assistance
