What Does Dried Secretion In Nasal Passage Indicate?
Question: Dried Secretion in both the nostril. Bleed a little if peeled out. XXXXXXX 2 weeks now. No medication has been taken yet. Steam is not of much help. No running nose. No cough, no cold, just blocked nose. Note able to clear it while washing it.
What nose drop should I take it to get it relieved or any medication.
I think there is some infection inside.

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having bleeding on removal dried crusts. I would like to ask you few more details.
Is there any loss of sensation of smell ?
Are they (crusts) greenish black in color ?
Kindly get back to me with the details.
As such, crusting is common in healing phase of sinusitis or special form of rhinitis ( atrophic) or due to hot environmental weather.
In my opinion, you can instill simple saline nasal drops (over the counter-nasoclear 3drops/3time) to un clogg the dried up crusts. Take plenty of fluids (to prevent dehydration) and stop going in hot climate and stop pulling the dry crusts. Quit smoking(if you are with these habits).
In case of persistence, needs to visit an ent surgeon to rule out other causes.

But I think the infection is very much there. I had cold 2 weeks earlier which disappeared after 2-3 days but that dryness is still there.
