What Does Elevated WBC Levels And Loss Of Appetite Indicate?
Question: Several weeks ago blood work showed a WBC of 38,000. Re-test this week showed 41,000. I feel fine, am slim, fit and have never smoked. The only unusual symptom is complete loss of appetite. What are the possibilities? I really don't want to see a hematologist because I'm familiar with their needles.

You may need further investigations like complete hemogram,random blood sugar,liver function test,renal function test,urine RE/ME,blood culture,ultrasound of abdomen,chest X-ray (PA view).
