What Does Fibroadenoma Of The Biopsy Report Of Left Breast Indicate?

Question: I am stationed in XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Australia and had a core biopsy done. We live in a very remote area. I just got my biopsy report back and I am not sure what steps should be taken. Our doctor is back in the states for a month. I really just wanted some advice and direction. I would be happy to email a photo of the result for you to review.
Brief Answer:
sarcoidosis manahgement
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXX
You have not given clear picture where from the biopsy is taken and what it reported. If it is sarcoidosis only as per your history, you need not wory you are on the right treatment as sarcoidosis is treated with corticosteroids only. For poly mylitis you are on mrethotrxate which is also OK.
so you are not to worry as your treatment line is Ok. If Polymylitis condition permits I would recommend to withhold methotrxate for some time. If you have any specific problem after taking these drugs or pertaining to the disease that can be taken care of. I will be happy to reply your queries.

My question was regarding a biopsy of my left breast. I attached the report to the question. I know about my condition as regards to previous dx. The report came back as possibly fibroadenoma but cannot rule out a fibrous rapidly growing Timor which may or may not be malignant?
Brief Answer:
fibroadenoma of the breast
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX,
I was eager to know in the beginning where from the biopsy was taken as you did not mention the site of biopsy and nor I found the report which you attached now. I went through your history sheet which suggested sarcoidosis and I commented only on that. If I could see your history sheet I would have seen the report as well. I wanted you to give me details.
Any way the biopsy suggests fibroadenoma which as such is a benign tumor and should not be a cause of worry but if you feel that it is fast growing then the surgery is the option as there may be a sarcomatus element in it which has not been picked in the core biopsy. Once the excision of the lump is done further exhaustive histopathologocal evaluation can be done and if by chance proved malignant further management with possibility of cure is there. if unproved malignant at least you will be relieved of the burden and cosmetically also it will be good.
Dear Terrykoogle at the moment you should be happy that till this time it is a benign lesion only and you can wait till your doctor physically examines it and determines its nature.
