Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
COnsidering the range of normal values, the left heart chamber in the case of your baby is above normal, and the right chamber is below normal.
That is all that can be said right now.
The good thing is that the septum ( partition ) between two chambers is intact, so no intermixing of blood is happening, atleast right now.
There is also no abnormality seen in other structures and blood vessels.
The real implications of this problem can only be ascertained after delivery.
While the baby is inside the uterus, the pattern of blood flow is different, and once the baby is born, and gets separated from the mother's body, the entire pattern changes.
At that time, the significance of this enlarged left chamber can be fully understood.
At times, the newborn adapts well and no real issues arise, and at times, if other hidden problems come to the surface with the new blood flow pattern, then medical or surgical correction is needed.
The next step will be to have a Colour Doppler of the baby as soon as it is born.
I would recommend consulting a good Pediatric Cardiologist before birth and having the delivery at a tertiary care centre where all these specialities are easily and speedily accessible.
There is no cause for stress or anxiety at present as the real implications of these findings cannot be judged, but as a guarded reply, I would say that no lethal or life threatening risk seems to be present.
All the best

Detailed Answer:
Again, it is a hypothetical question.
The surgery ( or medication ) will depend on the type and severity of the condition, which can only be confirmed with certainty after birth of the baby.
It is impossible right now to say how serious the condition would be and what degree of treatment would be required for the same.
Take care.
