Question: what is homogeneous myometrium and endomedtrium thickened for 30mm. I already booked my urgent gyno appt this thursday.

Homogenous myometrium is a normal finding meaning that there is no fibroid, polyp or any other pathology in the myometrium. But endometrial thickness of 30 mm is grossly enlarged. It can be due to hormonal imbalance in cases of pcos, anovulation, unopposed estrogen therapy, endometrial atypia and increases the risk even for endometrial cancer, though endometrial cancer is more common around and after menopause.

I would like to advise in such a situation an endometrial biopsy first and if normal after consultation with your gynaec treatment with progestrones to suppress unopposed growth of endometrium. Discuss about endometrial biopsy when you visit the gynecologist.
