Brief Answer:
Uterine carcinoma should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I have gone through your mother's reports and prescription paper. From the prescription paper, I could infer that your mother has attained menopause 4 years ago and is now having irregular bleeding from the genital tract. Post menopausal bleeding can be due to atrophy of the uterine lining (senile endometritis), hormone replacement therapy but the most important cause to be ruled out at the earliest is uterine carcinoma (endometrial carcinoma) and cancer of the cervix, the former is more common in postmenopausal women.

The ultrasound report shows bulky uterus with endometrial thickness of 11 mm, which is abnormal for a postmenopausal woman (it is less than 4 mm normally in them). The suspicion of endometrial carcinoma is raised in such cases.

Moreover, it is difficult to comment upon the condition of cervix in ultrasound.
Rest reports of blood including hemogram, BT, CT, liver and kidney function tests and lipid profile are normal.

I would like to confirm whether your mother has attained menopause or not.

If yes, then I would suggest a prompt management in her case. She should undergo uterine biopsy (endometrial biopsy) as soon as possible to rule out endometrial carcinoma and get appropriate management as soon as possible, before the complications occur. Management by the medicines prescribed by your doctor should be done only after ruling out carcinoma.

Brief Answer:
Laser treatment not recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX thanks for responding. Laser treatment is not recommended in such cases of post menopausal bleeding. She needs a proper uterine biopsy using proper instruments by an OBGYN specialist, followed by open surgery if required.
My query was that when did your mother stop having her periods.
