What Does Irregular Periods Indicate?
Do home pregnancy test first. PCOD needs to be ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
Do one home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy if you are sexually active.
Irregular or delayed period may be due to hormonal imbalance, weight change, anxiety or mental stress, Poly Cystic Ovary, irregular diet pattern, lack of sleep etc.
Relevant investigations are required to carry out after clinical evaluation. These include Pelvic ultrasound scan (USG), Serum prolactin level & Hb%, complete hormone test - LH/ FSH, estrogen & progesterone level, thyroid profile etc.
TREATMENT: Combined hormonal pill is the MAINSTAY of treatment with or without adding Metformin (in case of PCOD). It will help to regulate your monthly period.
Life style modification is another entity to regulate your period. Take LOW carbohydrate diet, do regular exercise or control body weight, avoid stress, maintain genital hygiene and take sound sleep.
Kindly, consult with local gynecologist for above mentioned tests and procure complete prescription.
Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
You need complete clinical evaluation with above mentioned tests to confirm the diagnosis. It is worthwhile and more productive.
Combined hormonal pill like KRIMSON-35 or DIANE-35 is widely used to treat Poly Cystic Ovarian disease (PCOD) patient to regularize monthly cycle. It is taken for 21 days continuously with 7 days gap to get period. Body weight should be reduced to get regular period.
Kindly, consult with your local gynecologist regarding other treatment/ medicine and procure complete prescription. He/she will be better placed than me to give you a prescription after detailed evaluation. I am limited with my suggestions without a physical examination
Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion if there are no more questions.
All the best and good luck.
