Brief Answer:
Please discus polycystic ovaries with gynecologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
The blood report shows that you have blood group O POSITIVE.
On reading through the ultrasound report I find that you may have a condition termed polycystic ovaries. This needs to be discussed with your gynecologist who may ask for some specific blood tests to confirm the condition.

By definition Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a chronic anovulation syndrome.Sonographic findings alone are not specific, and the diagnosis is made on the combined clinical, biochemical and sonographic grounds.

The words homogeneous stroma with distinct canal in cervix describes a normal uterus and has nothing to do with your condition. Cervix canal is the canal that runs through the cervix (mouth of the uterus). Stroma is the matrix or the tissue that makes the uterus and cervix which is normally homogenous.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Thank you so much for clearing that up, Doctor. I will follow up most definitely :) However, my gynecologist mentioned briefly that there were signs of CIN or early stages leading to cervical cancer which of course worries me. From my blood works, especially my elevated ESR (found in "results(b)" blood works report) , do I have signs of this cancer or other disease at all?

Brief Answer:
Consulting internal medicine specialist may help

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

The features of CIN cannot be appreciated on ultrasound scan. The PAP smear is the most reliable test for CIN and may be repeated as per your gynecologists recommendations to see for any progression of the CIN during your follow up visits.

The ESR is a non specific finding. It is elevated in almost all abnormal health conditions. Your symptoms may be investigated in detail by an internal medicine specialist.

Hope your query is answered.
