What Does Jittery Sensation After Head Injury Indicate?

Question: After getting hit hard in the forehead at noon (by the car door) now I feel a little jittery and I'm noticing my head more than the hours up till now. I am a 68 yr old woman. Should I seek any immediate medical treatment?

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
After head injury,dangerous signs are persistent vomiting,bleeding from nose or ear,loss of consciousness,short term memory loss,persistent headache etc.
Although you are not having these symptoms but at your age,symptoms can progress very fast and can land you in emergency.
It would be better that you go to ER and get a precautionary CT head to be on safe side and be looked after by doctors for at least 24 hours.
Most likely everything should be normal but still taking precaution would be the best strategy now.
