What Does Light Yellow Vaginal Discharge Along With Urine Indicate?

Question: Hello Doctor,

My wife her age is 28 having vaginal white mixed with light yellow discharge along with urine daily.A kind of light smell is also she is saying. Now, she is taking some ayurvedic medicne for that.

Could you please advise what causes this

Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Abnormal vaginal discharge which is also smelly should be properly evaluated. It is mostly due to vaginal or cervical infection. The infection can be bacterial, fungal or protozoal.It is usually sexually transmitted.The exact infection can be diagnosed by proper examination and vaginal swab examination. I would suggest her to consult a gynaecologist to get properly examined, investigated using a vaginal swab and get treated accordingly.
