What Does Lump Formation On Neck Indicate?

Question: My 13 year old son has a lump on his neck that appears to have gone down. He says he feels fine. He has no fever or any other symptom. Should I take him to see a doctor or am I being overly concerned?

This lump is a swollen lymph node and this happens more than we can ever imagine just that we never get to catch all of them. They generally regress without need for any medical intervention.
