What Does Missed Period Even After Meprate Intake Indicate?

Question: hi as per doctor suggestion i have taken meprate 10mg 2 tablet per day ( from XXXXXXX 1 to XXXXXXX 5) to prepone my period. my last period was on dec 23rd .till now i didnot get my period. doctor told i get period on 15th january . my due date is 22 nd XXXXXXX . what can be done if i am not getting period this week.Please suggest me. january 25th my marriage. i am so much worried and tensed. is it possible to postpone my due date?

Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Generally speaking, after taking Meprate for 5 days, you get your period within a week.
So you should have had your period long back.
Have you taken the pills properly without missing any of them ?
Have you been sexually active ?
Also, right now you should get an ultrasound scan done to see the lining of the uterus.
It is probably too late to prepone your periods now.
You can continue taking Meprate again till you wish to avoid bleeding.
Once you stop, bleeding will occur.

thank you for your reply.yes i have taken all tablet without missing. i haven't done sex till now. i never done any check up related to this. is meprate 100% safe to avoid bleeding? bcz my marriage is happening at temple. is it neccessary to consult a gynacologist? i ate pappaya and pomogranate also among these days.little bit paining i am feeling on stomach.I never face any problem related to period it was regular all the time.

sorry i am little confused with your reply. is it one tablet(10mg) in the morning and 10mg in the evening? or total 10mg half in the morning and half in the evening? may be i am so much worried :)
