the tumors i had shown to two doctors one surgeon he told that its excessive fat and other a very experienced, specialized psycatorist he told that it may be swelling of lymph nodes
are these are symptoms of hiv? am i infected with hiv??
i had hiv rapid and i got result in 2 hrs after test and it was negative at my 3rd week after the above said exposure!!
HIV test to be done after 10 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Mouth ulcers and symptoms of pharyngitis like sore throat could be just an upper respiratory tract infection and stress ulcers. They are unrelated to HIV.
Now moving on to those lamps on your back and forearms are Lipoma (excessive fat accumulation at one place) and are unrelated to HIV again.
Now moving on to the unprotected sex, its always safer to have protected sex. Do note that there is some thing called as "window period" in HIV. Confirmatory tests to be conducted after 10 weeks of last exposure. Hence would suggest you to repeat after 10 weeks from your latest exposure. In case if you are worried about exposure to HIV, would also advise you to start on "Post Exposure Prophylaxis (pep)" immediately. Do contact your Physician for details.
Also do let me know for any additional information about it anytime.
Along with HIV would suggest you to get Hepatitis B test too.
Take care.
