What Does My CT Angiography Test Report Indicate?
images reveals an elevated left hemidiaphragm. What is this and is it serious.
Generally it is not a serious finding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Findings suggests that there is no soft or hard plaque in coronary arteries. This is a good sign.
But left dome of diaphragm is elevated(elevated left hemi diaphragm).Normally both domes of diaphragm are almost at same level but in your case left dome of diaphragm is raised.
Generally it may be due to simple reasons like over distended stomach. However other causes like enlarged spleen, sub pulmonic effusion(pleural effusion below left lung) etc should be ruled out.
This need clinical correlation.Further investigations like ultrasound of abdomen can be done after evaluation.
Generally it is not a serious finding.
