What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?
Question: I had a CT Myleogram done on my back and was wondering if someone could interpret it.
L4-L5 Ventral extradural defect central and paracentral to the right with forminal compromise. Thecal sac is deformed.
L5-S1 The thecal sac is opacified and the exiting nerve roots are patent. Mild concentric disc disease is present with small ventral extradural defect. The lateral recesses are patent. Suspected right heilaminotomy is present

I have gone through the CT myelogram report for your lumbar spine (lower back).
At L4-5 level, there is narrowing of the canal, resulting in nerve compression, more on the right side. This is most likely due to slipped disc.
At L5-S1 level, mild disc prolapse is present, but there is no compression of the nerve at that level.
Changes of old surgery were also seen.
Rest of the lumbar spine is normal.
