Brief Answer:
No, the sinuses appear within normal limits.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. No, the sinuses appear within normal limits.

2. The right maxillary sinus is smaller than the left.

3. Any treatment depends upon the symptoms. Why was the CT Scan done?

4. I always avoid treating a CT Scan and treat the patient's symptoms instead.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
That is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. The long sharp 'growth' is actually a normal scalloping of the underdeveloped right maxillary sinus, sometimes reported as an incomplete maxillary septum. This is very common and requires no treatment.

2. This would be better seen on axial and sagittal images.

3. You can share the entire set of images on a free file sharing site, if you need any more assessment.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Hi doc,

thank you very much, here is link to complet CT study:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

My problem is, that I have intermitent pain above teeth 16 and 17 and I feel presure to teeth 15 and 14. I can feel bony hard bump above the teeth 16 and 17. On OPG dentist didn't see anything interesting, except missing amalgam on 17, but pulpitis is not present, and inflammation also not. I was at maxillofacial surgery and oral surgeon touch the bump and said, that it is to high to be related to teeth and send me to ENT. Doctor on ENT made CT, but CT was made today and ENT doctor doesn't see anything on CT, but still waiting for opinion from RDG doctor. Just said dont touch the bump, its ok, no cancer, no inflammation.
So on OPG and CT isn't bony bump, but I have it, it sometimes hurt (over month) and doctors didn't know...

Thanks in advance for checking CT study...

Regards

Zdeněk

Brief Answer:
Your Sinus CT is within normal limits.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. Your Sinus CT is within normal limits.

2. I could not scroll the images but had to go through individual images.

3. The origin of your pain is not in the sinuses. It is most likely to be dental.

4. Do let me know if the pain is sorted out.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
