What Does My ECG Report Indicate?

Question: I had a pre-op ecg in April for a colonoscopy/endoscopy. The doctor's office read it and approved me for my procedure. This was in April. Now, I was looking at my copy of my ecg and found some notes on my ECG, Analysis details: low voltage in chest leads, total QRS <1.0 mV, flat T waves in I avl V4 V5 V6. Sinus Rhyth. Then it has QRS-T Morphology evaluation, indeterminate ecg, consider anterior myocardial infarction. Overall assessment of ecg indeterminate. then it says unconfirmed test. I had my colonoscopy, everything went fine. No one ever mentioned the abnormalities to me on this test. I have a problem with an arrythmia called PSVT. But on this date, I was in normal sinus rythm. Could this test mean I have had a prior heart attack? To my knowledge, I have never had one. Thanks.

I carefully reviewed your uploaded ECG report and would explained that, though the ECG recording is not complete, it does not confirm any signs of previous heart attack.

Those slightly flat T waves are not considered abnormal or dangerous.

Even the QRS complexes do not show elements for prior anterior myocardial infarction.

So relax!

There is nothing to worry about.

I would like to review the whole ECG recording for giving a definite professional opinion.

You should know that those ECG devices give some standard reports based on some predefined rigid algorithms and could not substitute medical opinion.
