What Does My ECG Report Indicate?
Question: hello doctor,
my father has undergone 1 bypass surgery in 1995 and has a stent in the heart. I have attached the latest ECG. He has been feeling pain in his shoulder blade for the last 7 days, mainly when he is lying down. Also, he has been coughing for the last week.
Could you please advise.

Brief Answer:
Please do upload the ecg
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern .
The history you provide , would make me rule out heart as the first possibility for the symptoms.
There is no ecg attached and hence I would request you to upload the same .
Also if an echocardiography has been done it will be more helpful to suggest the future course of action
Lastly is there more cough when he lies down .
Regards Dr. Priyank Mody

sorry doctor, pfa the ECG sugar done and his last prescription.
Brief Answer:
Stop Corbis , consult your doctor at earliest
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
I would enlist my observation .
As I start I would wish to communicate to you that you should be seeing your doctor at the earliest .
1)
The sugars have gone pretty low , at 56 you should consider decreasing his diabetes medication. Mostly amaryl
2) The ecg attached is suggestive of complete heart block ( It's better in paper as I can measure )
This warrants an urgent search for cause and treatment.
- Stop corbis
- get his S electrolyte, thyroid and rule out other reversible causes .
In high probability he would require a pacemaker with sos a defibrillator , the decision about the same would depend on complete cardiac examination.
I feel you should consult your doctor at earliest, if any urgency may call on 0 97699 77665 through HCM
