What Does My ECHO Test Report Indicate?
During preventive health checkup in XXXXXXX 2015, as per ECG report complete RBBB detected. I was advised for Echo test and TMT. Echo report says - Concentric LVH, Good LV systolic function (EF-74%), Grade-I LV diastolic dysfunction, No RWMA and No PE/Clot. TMT test concludes as "Negative for provocable Ischemia". What does it mean? Whether I am suffering from any cardiac problem? What should I do now?
Few positive findings are acceptable in your age.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
RBBB(Right bundle branch block)may indicate the presence of an underlying heart or lung problem. If all investigations are almost normal then RBBB is probably benign(not harmful). This condition usually doesn't require any treatment.
Major findings in ECHO is concentric LVH(Left ventricular hypertrophy).LVH is generally seen in hypertensive patients because heart has to pump blood against pressure.
So,it is important to screen for hypertension in your case.
Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction is acceptable.
Most important is ejection fraction of heart and this is good in your case.It assess function of our heart.
TMT is also normal. There are no signs of ischemia on exertion which is a good sign.
In short, there is no need to be worried.Few positive findings are acceptable in your age.

What it indicates? I have been diagnosed mild hypertension previously. But, not yet advised for medication for it. What should I do now?
I suggest diet, life style changes and regular follow up in such findings.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Lipid profile findings suggests values towards upper limit.Blood sugar findings are acceptable.
In such findings,I only suggest diet and life style changes.Patient also need regular follow up tests.
You should avoid saturated fat and alcohol(if you take it).
Increase your physical activity in the form of brisk walk and do regular exercise.
Take lot of fruits and vegetables.
If findings deteriorate in follow up tests then you may need hypolipidemic drugs.
