What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Question: I went to see my neurologist yesterday and he said that it is really a negative mri, He did not see anything that would show a myelination process and he checked my vitals and he said the only thing he saw in the report was a very slight atrophy in the brain probably due to the excessive drinking he was surprised because of the amount of alcohol I consumed over the years there was not anymore damage to the brain
Bottom line no MS and he assured me no ALS
..
I am going to get my own GP to do up a referral for a EMG exam just to ease my mind for ALS
and possibly an exam where they put pins into your head I forget the name of the test because I am still getting over reflexing in my arms and legs.
Once again great job and thanks for all your medical knowledge and input.

Brief Answer:
Wish you good health forever.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for being in follow-up again with some good news.
I told you that there is nothing significant in your MRI.MS or ALS was never into consideration.
You can get EMG done for reassurance.EEG is not needed(the test to which probably you are referring to) and neither indicated.
Have a good control on BP and live a happy life forever.
If you wish to follow-up,that will be my pleasure else please close the thread and once again write a review.
Thanks and Regards.
