Question: in layman terms what is
trivial bilateral subcortical left anterior internal capsule white matter disease
hx: migraine, concussion x2, memory loss, hyperintensive anxiety, diabetes type 2, small vessel disease, nausea
concussion- hit in the head with a heavy metal trash compactor door 5 years ago
platform bed frame slipped and hit on head-same spot 1 month ago
age: 34 female

In view of diabetes , hypertension, small vessel disease , head injury and migraine such a finding is not uncommon.
You should get some routine blood testing like vitamin B12, thyroid profile, urea creatinine, lipid profile and immune profile (ANA and ENA).

I guess I'm more concerned because my brother passed at 18 years old with a brain infection from meningitis. I'm more sensitive in this area of that makes sense. How progressive does this disease get? Is it a harmless disease? I'm a mom of a 10 year old. Just want to understand that's all. I appreciate your time. Can this disease kill me is what I'm worried about to be honest.

Thank you so much. Making me feel alot better about this. But I guess it is something I really need to control through my other issues. People who have the white matter disease are able to have a normal life in fun, etc, working? Alot of people don't know about small vessel disease either. Recently diagnosed by my nephrology doctor with renal hypoplasia. I appreciate the time you are taking to answer my 20 questions.
