![default](/r/images/default.png)
I am attaching the MRI scan and final report here, I need your guidance to cure the pain as per the test report.
Also I am currently staying at XXXXXXX and need suggestions of approach specialist to further treatment.
NSAIDS/Antineuralgics/Observation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
I have gone through the MRI images as well as the MRI report which you have uploaded.
Of course, there are significant disc protrusions at L4-L5 and L5-S1 with retrolisthesis of L5 over S1. However, I would advise to start treatment with medications and observe for a few days.A typical prescription will be-
1)Tab. Etoshine-MR tab twice a day after meals.
2)Tab. Pantocid 40 mg once a day(empty stomach)
3)Tab. Pregalin-M once a day
4)Tab. Symbal 60 mg once a day
5)Tab. Benfomet forte once a day
6)Tab. Shelcal twice a day
Decision on surgery may be taken after seeing the response to medicines.
Further, there appears to be diffuse changes in spine.
So, serum 25-OH-vitamin D levels along with calcium levels from a good lab(like XXXXXXX diagnostics or Apollo diagnostics). At the same time, Fluorosis may also promote such changes, and your drinking water should be tested for Fluoride levels and if higher, a RO filter must be used.
THE PRESCRIPTION I HAVE MENTIONED IS A PROVISIONAL PRESCRIPTION ONLY AND THE MEDICINES MUST BE TAKEN UNDER THE GUIDANCE/ADVICE OF A PHYSICIAN.
Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
Regards

Thank you for all the information that you shared, certainly helpful for me.
Having couple of questions:
1. As you have seen the reports, is this panic situation as my mother is not able to move and having very high level of pain.
2. If you are suggesting to start treatment with medications as mentioned, then for how many days should I go with and review the development (Can be start the medicines under the guidance/advice of a physician.
3. Also there is another problem along with lower back pain is, found small kidney stones. Is this due to the water consumption which fluoride levels are high?
Thanks Again for the advice and looking forward your reply.

Start medicines and observe for a few days.
Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
You should start medicines and observe for a few days.I am hopeful that medicines will bring improvement in pain.Spinal exercises may be started once the pain improves.
Continue these medicines for 5 days and be in follow-up with response.
Fluoride water does not have a definite relation with kidney stones, not proven so far.
Hope that helps. If you have some further questions, please get back to me else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
