What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?
I've had an X-ray done, with no abnormalities found and I've also had an ultrasound done. The ultrasound noted a 1.5x0.5x1.5 cm solid lesion. I've attached the image files with the images and report from my ultrasound.
Once the report came back I went for the MRI with and without contrast. The Radiologist said no mass, and I've asked around to a few doctors that say it looks vasular. I don't think it would be a vascular malformation as I just noticed it a few months ago, and I wasn't born with it. It's a rather "large" palapable mass on my chest wall that feels like a bone, but it's not my rib. The ultrasound picked up a solid lesion, and on the MRI in one of the images you can see a white spot in the middle of the black area, which measures 15mm exactly. Any advise on what I can research or what you believe this could be would be greatly appreciated. The next step is a biopsy but that won't happen for a few weeks.
The radiologist report says no mass, but I have some images I'd like explained to me as what it is I'm looking at. I found some strange images in the exact place that I have this mass.

Hello
After going through the medical details and all the report images attached by you i would like to tell you that MRI is a much more superior test than a X Ray or an ultrasound. And the reports of it are reliable.
The image which you have marked looks like a branching of a vessel. The hard fact here is that being a doctor i know its very important in your case to see that swelling which you feel is there by physical examination and then co relating things together to understand the issue.
Also its not necessary to have vascular malformation from birth some do develop later in life.
Yes biopsy will give a very clear idea and will help to arrive on a diagnosis. Nothing much we can do as of now till biospy report comes.
