What Does My PET Scan Report Indicate?
Question: I am a colon cancer patient. I had a pet scan 5 weeks ago that showed a peritoneal lesion inferior to the liver and in front of the kidney with SUV of 2.8. I have been suffering with very bad nausea so my GP sent me for a CT. These are the images from yesterday. Does this look like a metastatic lesion?
Brief Answer:
Ct lession
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking
In my opinion he doesn't look like metastatic lesion.
In any case this lesion can't be the etiology of your nausea.Did you have blood count tests and CEA biomarcer lately;
Sometimes that kind of lesions can be indicative for inflammation too.
Feal free to ask further questions.
Regards

Thanks. My CEA is not reliable. It bounces all over the place. Can you tell me what the nodule is in front of my kidney if it is not a metastisis? This is the area where the nodule on the PET was. The nodule on the PET was 1.5cm.
Thanks
Thanks
