What Does My Bilirubin Serum Test Report Indicate?
Question: Hi Sir,
I am 27 year old, I have through BILIRUBIN SERUM (TOTAL, DIRECT & INDIRECT) test.
Result is:
Total Bilirubin: 1:08 mg/dL
Conjugated Bilirubin: 0.18 mg/dL
Unconjugated Bilirubin: 0.9 mg/dL
Above result are positive for Jaundiec??? If yes what is level of it, If not Thank GOD
Please clarify my doubt

The liver function test what you have furnished is normal. You do not have jaundice.

Hi thank you for quick reply.
Actually last month i affected by typhoid
Where test result on Nov 2014 is
Salmonella typhi "O" - 1:80
Salmonella typhi "H" - 1:80
AH & BH are 1:20 only
Now Again i am getting fever so went for tests again
Where in Widal test "O" is 1:40 remaining all are 1:20
And Jaundice mentioned above which is normal as you said.
I hope widal test is also normal.

The widal test you have furnished is also normal however I must add that widal is usually interpreted by increasing trend of the widal. Which means that if you persist to have fever I would want you to repeat the widal to see for an increasing titre of the widal to rule out typhoid

Usage of Cifran & Calpol from last 4 days decreased my temperature (fever). I hope fever is in control and i strongly decided to have strict diet.
I think i am in correct way to control typhoid. And Cold really killing me i hope it is not anyway related to Typhoid. Cold due to seasonal affect.
Am inright track??

1. Steam inhalation three times a day
2. Tab levocetrizine at night for 5 days. Remember, this is a prescription drug. Make sure you discuss the usage of this drug with your primary doctor.
3. Avoid cold food and beverages
4. Avoid smoking
