Brief Answer:
Repeat reading and ambulatory BP monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The reading is high. However , one reading alone should not be relied upon in starting medication especially if the patient is asymptomatic. Preferably 3 readings daily can be taken for now. You can request for 24 hour ambulatory BP monitoring if the subsequent reading also show elevation or do not come back to baseline sufficiently. BP medication would be required provided the BP is persistently above 140/90.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
