Question: Hello Dr. Rynne, I have puzzling lab results (blood work). Could you help me decipher? 1) mild neutrophilic leukocytosis; borderline thrombocytosis; minute (<1%) CD5 positive monoclonal B cell detected by flow cytometer 2) most likely represents a monoclonal B cell lymphocytos

You have neutrophilic leukocytosis. Most common cause of neutrophilic leukocytosis is infection. Thrombocytosis is common in infection so no need to worry about that.

Monoclonal lymphocytes should be investigated. Please send me your flow cytometry report also.
