First of all please know that all medicines comes with a risk of side effects. Janumate is a very good drug with very less significant side effects, unless you have either Kidney or Liver problem .
This medicine has to be taken with food.
There has been a concern of Pancreatitis occurring as a side effect , but in my practise I have noticed none . But if you had Pancreatitis in past or if you consume alcohol very frequently then better stop this drug and go for alternative.
